How did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, treat his wives and children, and what were the manifestations of his humility?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, treated his family and people with the most perfect treatment. He was the best of people to his family and participated in household chores. Examples of this include his rising for Fatima, kissing her, and seating her in his place. He said: "The best of you is the best to his family, and I am the best of you to my family." He also said: "The most complete in faith among believers is the best in character, and the best of you are the best to their women in character."

Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: "He used to be in the service of his family, and when the prayer time came, he would go out for prayer." And: "He would mend his clothes, patch his sandals, and do what men do in their homes."

As for his treatment of his servants, it was the best treatment. Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "I served the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, for ten years. By Allah, he never said 'uff' to me, nor did he ever say to me about anything: 'Why did you do such and such, and why did you not do such and such?'" He was extremely humble; "A slave girl from the slave girls of Medina would take the hand of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and lead him wherever she wished."
