Is it considered an act of disobedience for a daughter to retaliate against her unjust parents, or to supplicate against them saying: "O Allah, protect me from their evil and restore my rights from them by manifesting the truth," or to defend herself when beaten?

The rights of parents are great, and being dutiful to them is among the most obligatory duties, while disobedience to them is among the greatest sins. However, their status and rights do not justify their oppression of their children, for oppression is forbidden. Just as parents have rights, children also have rights, and everyone is accountable before Allah. The wrongdoing and oppression of parents do not negate their rights over their children. Therefore, it is not permissible to raise one's voice at a parent. One can escape from their beating and harm by fleeing, and it is not permissible to supplicate against them. As for saying: "O Allah, protect me from their evil" or similar phrases, there is no harm in that.
