Is it preferable to repay debts over getting married if the debtor fears temptation and wishes to marry, especially since the creditors are not in the same country as him, and his current financial situation does not allow for their repayment, but he intends to do so in the future?

Restitution for injustices, such as debts, must take precedence over marriage, unless the creditors permit him to prioritize marriage over settling his debts. As for one who fears temptation, he should fast, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O young people, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it is more effective in guarding the private parts and lowering the gaze. And whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for it will be a shield for him."
