If a man desires polygyny, and a woman desires to be the sole wife of one man, then why did God permit a man to marry more than one? And will the absence of this desire in men in Paradise make women long for it?

A Muslim must be content with what Allah has ordained and trust in Allah's justice, wisdom, and mercy in managing the affairs of His creation and distributing provisions. Therefore, it is not permissible for a woman to object to the prerogatives or greater capacities that Allah has bestowed upon men. Allah grants His bounty to whom He wills, and the one who is less favored should not wish to be equal to one whom Allah has favored above them, in accordance with His, the Almighty's, saying: "And do not covet what Allah has bestowed upon some of you in preference to others."
