Is it permissible to go to a fortune teller to find out if I am bewitched, and then be cured with the Quran?

It is absolutely forbidden to go to soothsayers and diviners. If the questioner is suffering from an illness, she must turn to Allah Almighty, rely on Him, and use lawful Ruqyah that is free from polytheism. She should also seek out someone knowledgeable in Ruqyah from among the people of religion and uprightness, accompanied by a mahram, and use medical treatment if necessary. She should know that Allah tests His servants with illnesses to expiate their sins and elevate their ranks.
