Is it permissible for a woman to offer the Udhiyah on behalf of her deceased husband and her household concurrently?
It is permissible for a woman to include a deceased man in the reward of the sacrifice (Udhiyah). The Sharia texts indicate the permissibility of including others in the reward of the Udhiyah, among which is the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when slaughtering his sacrifice: "O Allah, this is on my behalf and on behalf of those of my Ummah who have not sacrificed." This includes the living and the dead, by analogy with the permissibility of giving charity on behalf of the deceased.
