Whoever arrives in his hometown, even if he intends to stay for the duration of a single obligatory prayer, the ruling of travel is lifted from him, and he is obligated to complete the prayer. He is not permitted to combine prayers except for the excuses that permit a resident to do so, such as illness or rain.
