Does the time for Maghrib prayer in Ramadan extend until the time for Isha prayer in Ramadan, or until the time for Isha prayer begins on normal days of the year?

The time for Maghrib prayer is fixed, with no difference between Ramadan and other months, and its time begins at sunset. Scholars have differed regarding the determination of its end time. Malik and Al-Shafi'i were of the view that its time is short and limited to the duration it takes to perform the prayer after sunset. Whereas Abu Hanifa, Ahmad, and Al-Thawri held the view that its time extends until the disappearance of the red twilight. Performing the Maghrib prayer at the beginning of its time is a Sunnah.
