هل كان جميع الأنبياء مسلمين؟
Islam is submission to Allah through monotheism, obedience to Him, and disavowal of polytheism and its adherents. All prophets and messengers were Muslims, as evidenced by numerous Quranic verses mentioning prophets such as Abraham, Noah, Moses, and Jacob, peace be upon them, and as in His (Allah’s) saying: "Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a Haneef, a Muslim" (Aal Imran: 67), and His saying: "He has named you Muslims" (Al-Hajj: 78). Abraham and Jacob enjoined their children to Islam, and none would abandon this religion except one who makes a fool of himself. The religion of the prophets is one, which is Islam. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The prophets are brothers from different mothers; their mothers are diverse, but their religion is one." Their religion is Islam, and no other religion will be accepted: "And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter, he will be among the losers" (Aal Imran: 85).
