Is a person excused for delaying repentance with the aim of learning Sharia rulings related to their sins, such as the ruling on abandoning the recitation of the Quran due to laziness?

You must repent for neglecting the revision of the Quran to the point of forgetting it, for that entails squandering the virtue of bearing the Book of Allah. Delaying repentance is a sin that necessitates another repentance, and there is no excuse for delaying it. It is best that repentance be comprehensive for all sins, but repentance from some sins is sufficient for what is repented from.
