Jealousy is a feeling of possessiveness and pride that arises from a change in the heart and a person's anger when someone shares in something that belongs to them. Its causes are numerous, including: weakness of faith, which prompts a woman to speak ill of her Muslim sister or her husband; the whisperings of Satan, which generate illusions and doubts; malice, envy, and the love of reputation; and also a feeling of inadequacy, which makes a woman feel that others are better than her. These types are considered blameworthy jealousy. As for praiseworthy jealousy, it has its own concept and forms, and there is jealousy between spouses that has its own motivations and forms.
