How is Zakat on money calculated for a commercial activity (kitchen showroom) that started in February?

Zakat is obligatory on kitchens displayed for sale; this is called Zakat on trade goods. The method for calculating its Zakat is that the goods are appraised at their market value when a complete lunar year has passed. If their value, either alone or combined with other money, reaches the nisab (minimum threshold), then 2.5% of their value is to be given. So, if the hawl (Zakat year) for the money falls in Sha'ban, and you bought the goods in Rajab, the goods are appraised in Sha'ban and their Zakat is paid.
