Is it permissible to own horses for racing and earn money from it, as well as sell them?

There is no objection to owning horses for racing, based on the hadith: "There is no betting except in archery, or with hoofed animals (camels), or with horses." And whatever a person owns, it is permissible for him to sell, according to the Almighty's saying: "And Allah has permitted trade." Horse racing for a prize is permissible by the consensus of jurists, under specific conditions.
