What is the meaning of: "Nor does avail the owner of might, your might"?

This supplication was reported from the Prophet ﷺ after bowing and at the end of the obligatory prayer. It includes praise of Allah and acknowledgment that none can withhold what He gives or give what He withholds. It affirms that worldly fortune or personal effort does not benefit a person before Allah; rather, what truly benefits is righteous action or divine mercy. Scholars explained that “fortune” here refers either to wealth and power or to personal striving, but in both cases, salvation depends solely on Allah’s grace—not on what a person possesses or achieves.
