What is your advice to a person who has suffered from moral deviance since childhood, and links this to an illness that afflicted his mother during her pregnancy with him, and to his father's saying, "Perhaps wretchedness was decreed for you"?

Do not pay attention to the whispers of Satan; there is no connection between what happened to your mother and your morals. Your father does not know the unseen to judge you as wretched. Know that you are responsible and accountable for your actions on the Day of Judgment. What you are experiencing is a type of trial, so you must strive against yourself to abandon moral deviance and draw closer to Allah by supplicating Him to rectify your condition and grant you success. Among the suitable supplications are: "O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek assistance; rectify all my affairs, and do not entrust me to myself for the blink of an eye," and "O Allah, You have perfected my physical form, so perfect my character," and "O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency."
