What is the interpretation of the verse: "And never will the Jews nor the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion"?

The Jews and Christians will never be satisfied with the Prophet, peace be upon him, unless he follows their religion. They will not accept any proposal or request from him, no matter what it is. Judaism and Christianity cannot be combined in one person, so satisfying both parties is impossible. Therefore, the Prophet, peace be upon him, must adhere to God's guidance, which encompasses all creation.
