Is it permissible to seek the help of a transgressor who drinks alcohol to facilitate entry procedures into a certain country?

The basic principle is that there is no harm in seeking assistance from the wicked and innovators in permissible matters. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sought assistance from Abdullah ibn Urayqit, who was a polytheist, to guide him on the path during the Hijrah.

However, if the area of assistance is impermissible, then seeking assistance in it is not allowed, even if the helper is a righteous and pious person. Facilitating entry procedures into a specific country, if done in a way that does not conflict with the regulations governing entry into that country, then there is no harm in it, regardless of the condition of the helper.

But if the procedures for entering the aforementioned country violate the applicable texts, then they are not permissible.
