What is the ruling regarding a customs officer who is presented with alcoholic goods that are declared permissible for entry, and is it permissible for him to complete the procedures for their release?

It is not permissible to allow the entry of prohibited goods such as alcohol and pork, nor to endorse their owner's possession of them, unless the owner is a Dhimmi who intends to consume them and not sell them in Muslim markets. As for a Muslim, it is not permissible to allow him to bring them in, whether for consumption or sale, because everything that aids in their consumption and trade is unlawful, and facilitating their entry is forbidden, due to the Almighty's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
