Is it permissible for Muslims in Europe to receive New Year's aid (financial or in-kind) offered by some organizations?

Asking people (for help) is reprehensible in Islamic law as long as it is not out of necessity or need. It is recommended for a Muslim not to ask anyone for anything. However, if a Muslim needs the help of others, there is no harm in that, even if the giver is a disbeliever, just as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, accepted gifts from disbelievers. If the aid is related to the New Year, there is no harm in taking it for those who are in need, provided that it is not in exchange for compromising any part of the religion or cooperating with them in falsehood. Ali ibn Abi Talib accepted the gift of Nowruz, and Aisha permitted eating from the fruits of the Majus on their festival, but not their slaughtered animals. Abu Barza ate from their fruits on the festivals of Nowruz and Mehragan. This indicates the permissibility of accepting their gifts on their festivals and at other times, as long as it does not involve assisting them in the rituals of their disbelief.
