What is the width of the Masaa according to the scholars who deem the current expansion impermissible, and what are its boundaries within the current Masaa?

We have previously favored the permissibility of performing Sa'i in the expanded Mas'a, and this issue falls within the purview of the scholars in the Sacred Land. Scholars who argue against the permissibility of the current expansion believe that the boundaries of the Mas'a are the boundaries of the old Mas'a, based on what was decided by a committee headed by the esteemed Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim. A resolution from the Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has affirmed this. Some scholars have stated that the width of the Mas'a is thirty-five cubits, while others hold that this is an approximation, not a precise determination, due to the absence of an explicit text from the Sunnah.
