Is it obligatory to investigate what is written in Arabic or foreign words on bags, packages, and clothes before throwing them in the trash or placing them in places susceptible to disrespect?

The predominant characteristic of what is written on packages, bags, and cartons is that it does not contain anything that must be revered, such as the names of Allah or the prophets. Therefore, there is no need to investigate them as long as it is highly probable that there is no revered name on them. Scholars have differed regarding the ruling on Arabic letters if their meaning is not religiously revered, and the preponderant opinion is that they do not need to be revered. However, it is better for a Muslim to respect everything written, and this is further confirmed if what is written is in Arabic letters.
