Is it permissible to perform the 'Aqiqah for two sons by paying an amount to charitable organizations that will handle the rest?

It is permissible to authorize charitable organizations to purchase, slaughter, and distribute the Aqiqah on your behalf. This is the fatwa issued by Sheikh Abdullah ibn Abdur-Rahman Al-Jibreen. However, giving the monetary value of the Aqiqah as charity instead of slaughtering it is not sufficient.
