Does saliva transmit the impurity of blood, similar to water?

The majority opinion is that impurity is only removed by pure water. However, the Hanafis and those who agree with them believe that impurity can be removed by any pure liquid that eliminates its substance, including saliva. For example, a finger or breast that has become impure can be purified by licking it three times. This is also the view of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and one narration from Imam Ahmad.
