Is it permissible to open a men's clothing tailoring business, and does this fall under any suspicion or prohibition?

The profession of tailoring is permissible in Islamic law and is considered a collective obligation (fard al-kifayah) due to its connection with covering the 'awrah (private parts). If the tailor has a good intention, he will be rewarded. He must be sincere in his work and avoid corrupt practices such as deception, lack of proficiency, and breaking promises. He should also not tailor what is impermissible to wear, such as silk garments for men, because by doing so, he would be assisting in sin.
