What is the legitimate Islamic ruling regarding the special case mentioned in the previous question concerning the ruling on shaving the beard?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

"Seeking work abroad does not constitute a necessity that permits shaving the beard. A Muslim can work domestically or abroad while adhering to the Sharia and Sunnah. Shaving the beard is not permissible except out of an unbearable necessity, for 'necessities permit the forbidden things,' and they are estimated according to their true measure. 'But whoever is forced, neither desiring [it] nor transgressing, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.'"
