ما هو الدعاء الذي "هزّ السموات"، وهل صحّ وروده؟

1 min readAlso available in العربية

There is no supplication that shakes the heavens. However, there is a story about Abu Mu'allaq al-Ansari that includes the supplication: "O Most Loving, Possessor of the Glorious Throne, O Doer of whatever You intend, I ask You by Your might that cannot be overcome, and by Your dominion that cannot be subdued, and by Your light that has filled the corners of Your Throne, to protect me from the evil of this thief. O Rescuer, rescue me!" It is said that this supplication was miraculously answered for its reciter.

This story was mentioned by some scholars, but its authenticity is unknown. It is not permissible to believe in the superiority of a specific supplication unless there is an authentic text from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Among the authentic and answered supplications for distress are the prophetic supplication for distress and the invocation of Dhun-Nun.
