Is it permissible to burn incense or spray camphor in cemeteries with the aim of repelling flies?

Fumigating or perfuming a grave is not an act of the Salaf. Rather, some scholars have explicitly stated its prohibition or considered it an innovation, unless this means is specifically designated to ward off harmful things from visitors to the graves, in which case there is no objection to it.
