Did the Prophet materially provide for his daughters?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prepared his daughters for marriage just as his people used to do. He prepared Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, with a velvet cloth, a water skin, and a leather pillow stuffed with idhkhir (a type of aromatic grass). Khadijah also prepared Zaynab, may Allah be pleased with her, with a valuable necklace.
