What are the implications if the wife enters the house with the mobile phone on which the husband pronounced her divorce?
The majority of scholars hold that a conditional divorce takes effect upon the fulfillment of the condition, and this is the most preponderant opinion. Therefore, if you swore to divorce your wife if she entered your house with her personal phone, and she did so, divorce occurs according to the majority. Your oath is dissolved with the occurrence of the first divorce and does not repeat. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: You are required to offer an expiation for an oath (kaffarat ) if you did not intend divorce. According to the opinion that divorce is binding, you may take her back before the completion of her ', provided this divorce does not complete the three divorces.
