Is it permissible to force the wife to reconcile with the husband's family who wronged her, or is she entitled to prevent them from entering her home?

This dispute is regrettable. The wise Sharia has guided us to observe the rights of Islamic brotherhood, and this is further emphasized among relatives, such as through marriage. Therefore, we advise reconciliation and forgiveness, and that the wise among you undertake this. The wife does not have the right to prevent the husband's sister from entering the house if it is owned by the husband. She may prevent her if the house belongs to her or if the spaces are private to her. The husband does not have the right to force his wife to interact with his family, but he may advise her and strive for reconciliation. As for divorce, it should not be resorted to merely for such problems, as its outcome is usually detrimental.
