What is the ruling of the Sharia on punishing a wife by preventing her from studying and attending university due to her defiance and rebellion, especially given that the husband promised her this at the time of marriage, wrote it in the contract, and fulfilled his promise, but resorted to this action when she became rebellious?

Contracts and conditions must be fulfilled, especially in the marriage contract, by which sexual relations become lawful and rights and duties are established. The husband must fulfill his wife's conditions, such as completing her education, her maintenance, her housing, and her clothing. The wife must obey her husband in what is right, and stop studying if it conflicts with his rights, for the best way a woman can draw closer to her Lord is by obeying her husband in what does not involve disobedience to Allah.
