Is a husband permitted to prevent his wife from completing her university education in an environment where Islamic values intermingle with others?

Injustice is the deprivation of a person's right. If the work or study environment is mixed (gender-wise), it is not permissible for the wife to join it, nor for the husband to give her permission for that. The husband will be rewarded if he prevents her. It is not the right of the woman to go out for work or study except with her husband's permission. However, if she stipulated before the marriage contract that she would complete her studies or work, he must fulfill her condition unless there is a legitimate impediment. If the wife is obedient, it is appropriate to help her complete her studies if possible, without falling into legitimate prohibitions.
