Is the repentance of one who has committed immoral acts then repented out of fear of scandal and punishment accepted? Will Allah forgive and conceal him? How can he redress injustices to unknown parties? Is it permissible for him to deny the crime to conceal himself? Is he obligated to be open with his wife?

If the repentance is sincere and includes abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it, then it is accepted by the will of Allah. The one who repents is beloved by Allah and is forgiven. Do not pay attention to satanic whispers about the insincerity of repentance. Continue in your repentance, strive in your good deeds, and conceal your sins, do not expose them; as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever commits any of these abominable deeds, let him conceal himself with the covering of Allah." And in the hadith: "All of my Ummah are forgiven except those who commit sins openly." It is permissible to retract a confession of disobedience in court, and it is even desirable to do so to conceal oneself. Nothing is required of you regarding the women before whom you exposed yourself, except repentance and seeking forgiveness.
