If you repent to Allah with sincere repentance and regret what you have done, then repentance erases sins, and one who repents from a sin is like one who committed no sin. Allah Almighty says: "And He it is Who accepts repentance from His servants and pardons sins," and "And those who, when they commit an indecency or wrong themselves, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins — and who forgives sins except Allah?" Strive in righteous deeds, for good deeds erase bad ones, and Allah accepts your repentance and rewards you for it, for He is vast in forgiveness. Allah Almighty says: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'"
