When and how was the soul created? And is it part of the Spirit of Allah or another creation?

The ensoulment of the fetus occurs after 120 days, and this is done by an angel sent by Allah. As for what the soul is created from, we have no knowledge of that. The soul is one of Allah's creations, not a part of Him. Its attribution to Allah in texts such as, "And I breathed into him of My spirit," is for honor and exaltation.
