Does Allah Almighty create the fetus directly or through an angel, and is the soul that the angel breathes into the fetus from Allah?

Allah the Almighty is the Creator, the Fashioner. He is the One who creates the fetus in its mother's womb and fashions it as He wills through stages. His uniqueness in creation does not necessitate His direct involvement Himself; rather, He entrusts this to the angels. Thus, it is from the Prophetic Sunnah that an angel undertakes the fashioning and creation of the fetus, and the blowing of the soul into it, by Allah's command. This soul is a created entity and not one of Allah's attributes. Its attribution to Allah the Almighty, "from My spirit," is an attribution of honor.
