Is it permissible to enroll in a Sharia science course with the intention of obtaining a financial reward and a prior intention to withdraw, and is this action considered worldly, contradicting the seeking of Allah's pleasure?

It is permissible to accept prizes for competitions in Islamic sciences, but one must be sincere in their intention towards Allah Almighty, meaning that the purpose should be seeking knowledge and obeying Allah, not obtaining the prize. This is because money is a means of encouragement, not the original objective. A severe warning has been mentioned regarding those who seek Islamic knowledge for worldly gain, as they will not find the fragrance of Paradise on the Day of Judgment.
