How can a woman search for those in need to give charity from her money without embarrassing them, and is it permissible for her to give money to her family and siblings with the intention of charity, or would she be breaking her oath to give her salary in charity?

The poor can be sought out by entrusting reliable individuals such as imams of mosques or those in charge of Islamic organizations. It is permissible to give charity to relatives and kin, and indeed, it is better, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Charity given to a poor person is one charity, but given to a relative, it is two: maintaining kinship ties and charity." However, this does not mean that giving charity to a relative is always superior, as a poor stranger might be in greater need.
