Does an individual who is performing a Sunnah prayer exit their prayer with or without a Taslim if the prescribed prayer is commenced?

A supererogatory (nafilah) prayer is terminated either by concluding it with the taslim (salutation) or by exiting from it without taslim, meaning simply by disengaging or performing any action that nullifies the prayer, such as speaking extraneous words.
