Is reading comics and manga from websites that publish them for free considered theft or a violation of intellectual property rights, given that they are not free products?

It is not permissible to infringe upon programs, articles, and books whose owners have prohibited their dissemination except with their permission. This is because copyrights and intellectual property rights are private rights belonging to their owners, possessing recognized financial value, and are legally acknowledged. Whoever infringes upon them by publishing or copying them unlawfully, it is not permissible to cooperate with him in his sin, due to Allah's saying: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
