is the best of months; the Prophet used to give glad tidings to people about it and urge them to do good deeds during it. It is a month in which good deeds are multiplied, ranks are elevated, prayers are answered, and sins are erased. Every day of it, Allah frees people from Hellfire, and ' performed therein is equivalent to Hajj. As for Sha'ban, no specific encouragement for 'Umrah during it has been reported. Therefore, 'Umrah in Ramadan is undoubtedly better and more rewarding.
