The answer

If the bleeding exceeds 15 days, you are in a state of (prolonged non-menstrual bleeding). Refer to your previous habit. Otherwise, distinguish menstrual blood by its color, smell, and the pain accompanying it. If you cannot distinguish, then consider six or seven days of the month as menses, based on investigation. During the period of menses, refrain from prayer and fasting. Then perform (ritual bath) and pray, performing wudu (ablution) for each prayer after its time has entered. It is permissible for your husband to have intercourse with you during the time of istihadah.
