A sign of its acceptance is Allah's granting of success for more acts of obedience. Affliction after repentance may not be a punishment; rather, it could be an elevation in rank and a test. It is repelled by supplication, taking the necessary means, and relying on Allah. The acts of worship of a repentant person are accepted if they meet the conditions. Faith is strengthened by adhering to obedience, supplication, keeping company with righteous people, and striving for the Hereafter.
