Will my repentance for the great sin I committed be accepted, and are there signs that indicate the acceptance of repentance?

It is in the nature of humanity to be deficient, to err, and to fall short. Allah has, out of His mercy, opened the door of repentance for humankind and made it obligatory upon all people. He, glorified be He, has promised to accept it and rejoices in it. As the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, clarified, Allah extends His hand for repentance night and day until the sun rises from the west, and He accepts it as long as the servant has not reached the death rattle. Repentance has great blessings, including: the effacement of evil deeds, entry into Gardens, a good life, the descent of blessings, and an increase in strength. It is available to every sinner, and repentance is accepted with conditions, among them: ceasing the sin, regretting having committed it, and resolving not to return to it. If it involves a human right, then one must clear that right.
