What is the stance regarding someone who hears a Muslim family blaspheming against Allah Almighty, and how should they deal with them, and what is the meaning of "enjoining good and forbidding evil" in this situation?
Whoever reviles Allah Almighty has committed major disbelief that expels one from the faith. Muslims must denounce the perpetrator to the best of their ability. If there is no legitimate Islamic ruler and civil courts are in authority, a lawsuit must be filed against whoever reviles Allah, as many man-made laws criminalize blasphemy against religions. If you are unable to hold the one who reviles Allah accountable through legal channels, and nothing remains but denunciation by tongue and heart, then you must not participate in any gathering where they utter disbelief. If these individuals would be deterred by the boycott of people of virtue and righteousness, then it is obligatory to boycott and abandon them, refrain from participating in any activity with them, and leave any gatherings where they are present, out of anger for Allah. As for children before puberty, the pen of accountability does not apply to them, but they must be prevented from uttering words of disbelief and engaging in forbidden acts, and their matter should be brought to their guardians. You must protect your children from associating with those corrupt children.
