If the heirs are limited to those mentioned, the wife receives one-eighth as a prescribed share due to the presence of lineal descendants. The mother receives one-sixth as a prescribed share due to the presence of lineal descendants. The remainder goes to the sons and daughters by ta'sib (residuary heirship), with the male receiving the share of two females. The inheritance is divided into one hundred and ninety-two shares. There is nothing for the brother and sister due to the presence of sons. The share of the minor sons is taken by their guardian. If the adult heirs authorize the wife, she can receive their shares on their behalf. If she is appointed guardian over the orphans, she is also legislated to receive their share.
