The answer

Allah granted His Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, success in overcoming the critical stage through his deep faith and reliance on Allah, coupled with his high resolve and determination. When the harm inflicted upon him intensified and Mecca became constricted for him, he departed for Ta'if to invite its people [to Islam]. When they rejected him and harmed him, he refused to seek revenge from them, hoping that Allah would bring forth from their loins those who would worship Allah alone. Allah honored him by fulfilling his hope later on, and through the journey of Isra and Mi'raj, which was a solace for him, a vision of his brethren prophets, Paradise, and Hellfire, and an honor bestowed upon him through prayer. Among the extracted benefits are: the good outcome of patience and steadfastness, not attaching one's heart to means, that sadness which does not deter a servant from his path is not blameworthy, that Allah supports religion even through a wicked man, that women have an effective role in building the Ummah, and that a believer's horizon is wider than the boundaries of the earth.
