What is the wisdom behind the journey of Isra and Mi'raj?

Among the wisdoms of the Isra and Mi'raj is that Allah Almighty consoled His Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, after he lost his uncle Abu Talib and his wife Khadijah in the Year of Sorrow. So, He honored him by meeting Him, showed him his brothers, the prophets, and Paradise and Hell, and honored him by ordaining prayer, which helps the servant achieve his aspirations.
