What is the meaning of Ibn al-Qayyim's statement: "Every seeking of aid that is with Allah alone is a betrayal and humiliation"?

The statement "Every reliance that is not on Allah is a failure and humiliation" is correct. It is obligatory upon the servant not to seek help except from Allah, just as he worships none but Allah, in confirmation of His saying, the Almighty: "You alone we worship and You alone we ask for help."
