What is the ruling on one who committed suicide, and is it permissible for her brother to perform Hajj and Umrah and give charity on her behalf?

If the sister repents and regrets her suicide attempt, forgiveness is hoped for her, and repentance erases what came before it. It is recommended to give charity, seek forgiveness, and supplicate for her. Vows must be fulfilled if they are acts of obedience to Allah, as Allah the Almighty says: "They fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread," and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him."
